St Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of lovers, celebrated on the 25th January which makes her the Welsh equivalent of St Valentine. Dwynwen lived during the 5th century on the Island of Llanddwyn North Wales. Its was renowned in its day where pilgrims would descend with complaints of the heart!
