THIS IS MY ENTRY FOR SAINT VALS 2022. #valentinescontest2022 Linda had written a letter to emmanuel. After one horrifying week, she finally receives a response from him on Tuesday. Linda had rushed to unilorin post office wearing hoodie and baggy trousers. It was a sunny and hot day. But she was determined to be unrecognizable. Linda had on sunglasses, skipped bathing and had on a perfume. She was excited to get home. Complete! Summary; Linda has always being part of the people that makes Emmanuel uncomfortable. Emmanuel feels Linda pushes his button the most. However, Linda falls in love with emmanuel. Linda finds out and plods along for weeks. Linda tells her room mate the source of her sadness. They write a letter to Emmanuel. Linda await his response. She decides to not leave the apartment.

a short story written for the saint valentine's contest 2020, of glowing eyes in the dark. - an unusual love story requires an unusual form of storytelling. - chapter image and story inspiration by svnddlsnts on tumblr. content warnings for referenced domestic abuse and implied murder. this is not a fluffy love story, but it also isn't as bad as it might sound now. it was more an experiment in writing rather than the purposeful telling of a love story. a great part of it is left to the reader's own imagination. i hope you enjoy this little trip into another world nonetheless, though.
