My sunglasses, too big for her face, slipping slightly down her nose. And my guitar, slung across her like she was about to perform an arena show. I blinked. "What..." She strutted in like she owned the place. She pulled off her sunglasses in slow motion, her voice husky and dramatic. "You see, I woke up... and I was him. Sahil freakin' Agnihotri. Guitar-wielding prodigy. Man of mystery. Hair gel connoisseur." I choked on a grape. "Siya." She was swaying like a drunken rockstar, fake-belting notes that didn't exist in any scale, throwing her head back so hard my sunglasses flew off her face and clattered to the ground. I had tears in my eyes from holding in the laughter. I just couldn't take it anymore. She was still hopping around the furniture like an unhinged squirrel, doing a full-blown mockery of my performance from last gig-microphone hand gestures, dramatic hair flips, even the fake broody guitar solo that had the crowd roaring. I chased her across the room, dodging a throw pillow she hurled at me, until I finally caught her mid-bounce and tackled her onto the armchair in a heap of limbs and laughter. She was breathless, still fully in character. "Hey," she panted, her voice deepening into a mock baritone. "Do you want to ride on my big bike? I'll teach you cricket... maybe show you my tattoo..."

Ishq~ "Ishq karna aasan hai lekin... usse nibhana nhi" She said, tears in her eyes, not of sorrow but of love and the pain of loving someone... ~ "Hamesha tum hi age rhogi ye nhi hai, kabhi harna bhi sikho Ms. Topper.." He said, his voice making her more angry.. ~ "Tum mujhse durr hi rho! samjhe?" She said with anger... ~ "What's Ishq? can you explain me?" He asked her wanting to know the meaning of Ishq.. ~ kya hai Ishq? pata nhi kya hoga, kis mor pe unhe akar rak dega ye ishq? She was depressed and he was broken. can love heal each other? Both were traumatized, but hiding it with a smile. will they be able to heal each other with their warmness? ~ "Saiyaara?" ~ "Taaron ke beech mein ek bhatak ta sitara jo bhag rha hai kuch pane ke liye.. kudh to akela hai par upni chamak se sabki zindagi roshan karta hai.."

Krish Kapoor and Vaani Batra stayed with me long after the screen faded, their story felt like it ended too soon. Kaahani is me picking up where the film left gaps, exploring everything we didn't get to see, hear, or feel. Her fingers race across the keyboard, silver metallic bangles softly clinking as they move - a sound that fills the quiet air like a lullaby. Her brows furrow. An error again. Her mouse hand clenches slightly, her phone wedged between shoulder and ear as she speaks to her roommate. "I'll try to leave as soon as possible. Yeah, I know the weather's bad and I should've been home by now, but you know how our onsite lead is , everything's urgent for him. Sometimes I feel like when he can't meet his own deadlines, he puts all the pressure on us instead."
