While shopping at an outdoor market, young reporter Tintin, accompanied by his faithful dog, Snowy, buys a model of an old ship called the Unicorn. A shady character named Sakharine with his daughter Jessica and later an American named Barnaby try to buy the model from him, but Tintin refuses. The lad discovers that the ship contains a clue about a hidden treasure, but before he can locate it, Tintin is kidnapped and given over to the custody of drunken Capt. Haddock.

Warning: English isn't my native language and back when I was still writing this fanfiction I relied too much on the Google Translate. Also, this story was written years ago when I was way less experienced in writing. Tintin again gets caught up in some kind of an affair, but this time it gets him to the British Isles. And he meets someone who can help him... or send to the bottom. A little bit inspired by the Black Island comic by Herge.

(Y/N) (L/N) is a young female writer/journalist who lives along with her pet companion, and best friend, (P/N) in Brussels. The capital city of Belgium. One day, she finds herself walking around on a local flea market, looking for her blue feathered friend, but instead she stumbles upon a small white dog. Only for (P/N) to fly behind it when the owner called out the dog's name. That's when she meets an attractive young man. The two start a small conversation as they keep on walking, that is until something catches her eye. The model of an old ship. But apparently, she isn't the only one. When the ship suddenly gets a lot of potential buyers, she finds it somewhat odd. So she decides to investigate what makes the model of this ship so unique. But what happens when in doing so, she stumbles upon a familiar figure and his pet? Will they work together to discover the history and hidden secrets of the Unicorn? Who will they meet?
