Every October, they meet up for one weekend.
It started in high school: cheap convenience store snacks, terrible horror movies, crowded Halloween festivals, and whatever ridiculous attraction someone found online. Even now, years later, they still make time for it.
This year, Atsumu finds an overnight escape room while scrolling through TikTok at two in the morning. Two hours and thirty minutes. Multiple rooms. Limited Halloween event.
It's supposed to be fun.
But the doors lock too tightly behind them. Sometime after midnight, they realize the game has changed.
There's no emergency exit.
No phones.
No way out except forward.
And not everyone is going to make it to November.
