It's been about two years since Kirby returned to Planet Popstar. Every day since he returned, he couldn't help but miss his friends in Inkopolis. But one day, the pipe to Inkopolis suddenly returns. Eager to see his friends again, Kirby enters the pipe, and arrives in Inkopolis once more. As Kirby learns about what he's missed, he makes new friends, new foes, and has lots of brand new, colorful adventures.

In hopes of getting a quick bite, a group of cephalopods join Grizzco Industries to try and get some food tickets. Little did they know, these four would be in for one heck of a journey!

Nikata never thought that she would ever have a cub. However, when she saw the young miracle laying beside him, she couldn't imagine living life without this little bear, Koda. Their journey continues to the salmon run where they meet family, new friends, and plenty of challenges along the way. The most dangerous danger has, and always will be though, man. (Takes place before Koda's mother is killed and I've added a few of my own characters. There really isn't much about their backstory and Koda's mother doesn't even have a name. I filled in some gaps and I tried to keep it as close to the facts as possible.

Still today, he has a fear which is translated by a rise of anxiety. To hide his weakness, he became the Agent 3 and began to go out with Goldia. When Prussia asks him to accompany her in Inkopolis Square to make a curious activity named "Salmon Run", Jason accepts without hesitation. A scary event is going to put him in the face of his worst terror : the one that he or one of his close friends dies...

The city of Inkopolis relies on two things: the Great Zapfish and the popularity of the Turf Wars. The dirty work of the city is often forgotten behind the glitter and glamour of the Turf Wars and Off the Hook. Lyon is a fairly average inkling who works for the enigmatic Mr Grizz. he's part of a four-man crew of inklings who do one of the most dangerous and thankless jobs: the Salmon Run. As a Salmon Runner, he fights for a paycheck instead of the popularity of the Turfers. Even though the work is rough and dangerous, Lyon makes a decent career out of it. Life is good, but exhausting: that is, until he finds himself deep in debt to Mr Grizz himself. Now, he fights against the ever pilling interest to be debt free. If the debt the doesn't crush him, the Salmonoids will.
