When I was four, my family moved from Pascagoula, Mississippi to Alaska. Daddy was minister, and he went to Alaska as a missionary. That made me an MK, missionary's kid. This is the story of my experiences from age 4 to 9. Memory is a strange thing. Some of what I remember vividly, my mother said didn't happen the way I remember it. While Mama recently passed and is not around to argue with my interpretation, I apologize ahead of time to my siblings whose memories might vary from mine. While the story is based on my memories, I have added fictional details when my memory of those details fails me. This makes the story more readable. The bulk of the story takes place in Fort Yukon, an Indian village north of the Arctic Circle. While Indian may not be the politically correct term today, it was the word used for native Americans when I was a child and so that is what I will use.

There are other forces out there. . .and sometimes, He wants us to be aware of them. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ What is with the struggle with sin? Why is it that we struggle to see past the lies of the devil, and become so spiritually blinded in the process of it? This story, one with a hopeful expectation of being meaningful and as realistic as possible while still being symbolic and metaphorical, is only one of the many stories one might have about war against the powers of darkness. Remember that while the devil is powerful, he is also a defeated foe. The following events show how the influence of Satan and his demons and the power and grace of God affect a human being on the individual level. You have been warned. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ Warning: may be a little frightening for some readers.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. ~Psalm 139:17-18 Reflected today on just how precious it is every uncountable time God thinks of us and blesses us. And this praise came to me that I wanted to express in a poem of praise. How beautiful are the unsearchable riches of Christ. All praise to the Lord God! Thank the Holy Spirit. For each and every incredibly special treasure He does in all our lives, each precious blessing. 💖 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." ~John 3:16 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:19

As everything around them crumbled to mere existence, Earth's greatest scientists made one last effort to save the world that had been ravaged by climate change and human fault. Gene enhancement. The testing on pregnant women was indubitably dangerous; but what else was there left to try when Earth faces the ineluctable consequences? If there was any chance of volition that this generation could make the difference, it had to be taken. But with no palpable differences at their birth, only time will tell if these children will truly be the key to Earth's salvation. Not only for humanity but also for the place they live in. Even if that is the case, can they get the better of the ignorance that destroyed the planet in the first place? Book summary by @minusfractions (mostly some parts). Book cover by @Apollyon- (it's so awesome!) Ranked #710 [04-16-16]

Every Christian goes through tough times, especially teenagers. This is the time where our emotions start to expand and we tend to want to rebel from what our parents had taught us or any rules at all. This is the best time for encouragements and uplifting words and songs to make us into better people, children and christian. Though all genders need it, by being a female writer, I understan teenage girls more. Here's a book for all teenage or tween girls who belive in Jesus Christ and need a helping hand or simply a prayer. Be encouraged.

Finding a church to waste time at - in order to skip being at home and risking being around his parents- seemed to be a good idea at the time. However, as Troy Connors gets to know these strange people and their 'God', he starts questioning if they were all just a bunch of weirdos, or if there was more to 'The Church' than just showing up every Sunday. Maybe, just maybe, with the help of new friends, bonds, random craziness, and a little soul-searching, Troy will find some sunlight shining through life's dark clouds. ~ A fun story dedicated to my friends, family, and Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.

"..As for me, I will always have hope. For hope anchors the soul". This shall be a collection of my words inspired by God and written by the hopeful wisdom I've obtained through the years {unless otherwise stated}. The words I write are as much for me to remember as it is for any reader. I want to inspire, have a healthy impact on those who are broken or need a shoulder to cry on. For those who need inspirational words whether they are happy or sad. Please, believe in yourself. You have no reason not to. You were made for a reason. Whomever states otherwise is a coward, insecure about themselves, and is like a snake slithering on the ground, telling you to eat the apple. Snow White did it, Eve did it, but you don't have to. We were all made perfectly, we were all made to epitome beauty. We were made to be bold...and Stouthearted. #347 in Poetry Cover design by: Chri_LoveOnDire

The Sorcerer reappeared in a hall of the castle. He needed to be away from the Swordbearers' magic-although he was ashamed to admit it, the forces he had come in contact with were more powerful than he had first thought. He'd been confident that, since the Swordbearers were young, they wouldn't know their power enough to wield it effectively against his experienced magic. It took about five minutes for him to work off the freezing spell then, shivering, he made his way down the hall of the castle and, muttering mysterious words, took the arrow out of his chest. His shoulder ached with every step, and he chanted under his breath to reverse the effects of his burn. The Magician's meeting with the Lords and Ladies of the Middle Ground had probably reached the end of feasting and was moving on to more important matters. In the meeting room tables were overturned, food and drinks were splattered on the floor, and well- the place was a general disaster. Isirien stopped in his tracks. "I sense your presence," he said. "Come out of hiding." "My, you've changed brother," a female voice said as someone in a black hood appeared. "I can't hide from you like I used to. But neither can you hide from me." "Soul Thief," Isirien said with dread of recognition. "Why are you here?" She drew back her hood, revealing her pale and dead features. Her eyes were empty and ghostly hollow. "Allow me to show you. I escaped the tombs where the Three Swordbearers imprisoned me. But the descendants are arising."

About a month ago, I had this dream.. which started out as a nightmare but then turned -by God's Grace- into a dream of Jesus comforting me with a kind of Peace that only He can give. It was one of the most meaningful dreams I've ever had- I remember the feeling of safety that I experienced in that moment as He woke and soothed me. :') It was during that dream that I felt called to write this poem in gratitude. There's also been many times that I've prayed during a nightmare -sometimes while not even knowing it's just a dream- and every single time, right when I pray is when I wake up. God wakes me up, making everything okay, and this pattern has definitely taught me to cry out to Him. That's the meaning behind the second paragraph in this poem. I've never really thought of myself as much of a poet. I barely have any experience around this type of writing. The fact that this came to me so easily and the way I could express so much emotion through it really shows that it was the Holy Spirit's work through me- it was a sudden gift and I'm grateful to have been chosen to write this. :) May all Glory be to Him! <3
