Then the equipment started malfunctioning and, suddenly, a portal began to open. Everyone grabbed onto something to avoid being pulled in. Seconds later, the portal "spit out" a boy onto the ground and then closed. - Koko wa dokoda...? (ここはどこだ...?) - The strange black-haired boy groaned, a grimace of pain etched on his face. The grimace lasted only a few seconds as soon as the boy saw who was there. His expression changed completely, and he simply murmured: - Otousan...?! The tension between Heatwave and Quickshadow thickens when a few pent-up feelings are brought to light, and they quickly begin to realize that they need to set aside their differences (and maybe their emotions) in order to keep the team together as major problems begin to surface. Adopting a helpless, abandoned sparkling doesn't seem so complicated at first, but this one happens to have a dangerous secret, one none of them know. And when that secret casts over the team in a dark shadow with questionable motives and a mysterious links to her past, Quickshadow has to make one of the most difficult choices in her functioning: give up her one chance to save someone she thought she'd lost, or risk everything to protect her new-found family.
