After Elara Salvatore's husband, Kol Mikaelson died, she was only stuck with her three kids. Valeria, Luca, and Aurora. Valeria became depressed. Her style changed, she only ever wore headphones around the house with a hoodie and baggy tracksuit pants. Aurora was practically always up in her room, up until more than a few weeks. Luca always walked around, but he never spoke, and he started smoking. Elara was in so much stress. She was doing any magic to try and bring him back, but it all didn't work.
