A new boy is in town, why is he so cute, no this shouldn't be my thoughts, but he just to cute not like. No this shouldn't be the way a boy feels. (Cover art by me) After a strange but clarifying conversation in a grimy school restroom, Sal sets his eyes on befriending Travis and discovering the gorey details of him as a person. However, Sal gets a little too close, and some dreadful feelings arise. Now the issue is trying to figure out how to drop the hints without "incurring Travis' wrath", whether that would actually happen or not. Meanwhile, Travis struggles to keep himself from fighting these changes. Everything is new, his brain is very stubborn in trying to reject it. He can't understand why he suddenly wants to follow along, and he hates that he does, but he lets it happen. Unfortunately this doesn't come without consequences. OK ew cheesy description this is an "AU" where it's just SLIIIGHTLY more realistic. Like, without big snot monsters and shit, and the cult isn't as powerful. So, not much different, but more room for a happy ending. Also sal's pagan, cause why not? ⚠️‼️ This will contain: depictions of domestic abuse (obviously), alcohol abuse, self harm, intrusive thoughts, disordered eating, planned murder, death threats, homophobia (obviously), conversion therapy, drugging, and memory manipulation. Travis and his mother escape Kenneth, and move to Addison Apartments in an attempt to restart their lives. But, of course, Sal also happens to live there. Time was always weird it never seemed to make sense. What was going to be one last good bye from Travis turned into a long run of trying to save Sal from what was going to happen.

Travis must find a way to confess his feelings to Sal. He doesn't know how or why he feels the way he does for a boy, but not even God can keep him away from feelings. ... if anyone has suggestions on how the story should go feel free to comment and i might add it into the story.

Travis struggles with his sexuality, and, well, stupidness in math, until his teacher decides to have Sal tutor him. Travis assumed this is the worst thing to happen to him, but will Sal prove him wrong?
