this is my first one shot book in years so it might not be good.

Set 6 months after endgame, Sam decided not to take up the mantle of captain America and when he gives away the shield nothing but bad comes out of it. A new threat is stepping out of the darkness and it may be up to two heroes to bring them down. When Sam and Bucky come together and team up it isn't just the new threat which is arising. Sam and Bucky never considered their feelings before but this time things change. Sam laughed softly, the sound was still as beautiful as the first time Bucky had heard it. "We aren't very good at hating each other," Bucky mumbled, mostly to himself. "No," Sam kept his eyes down but smiled. "No, we aren't."

Myra had always been shushed throughout her life. When she had her parents it was, "Shh, the adults are talking". She just found that unfair really. Even when she 'moved' it just got worse. Not until she met the man with the metal arm though. He lets her talks for hours. She knows he's listening, even if he doesn't speak. He listens, Myra knows that. Steve's made up his mind. He chose to live his life like it should've been (which was a stupid choice). Not only has he passed his shield and the title of captain to Sam, but also his life long best friend Bucky. Sam and Bucky have always had a rocky relationship ever since SHIELD was compromised. Sam tries his best to cooperate with him, but Bucky always ends up shutting him out for unexplained reasons. Marking Bucky down as hopeless, Sam decides to go at it alone. Little does he know that that's not an option.
