Shaw doesn't know why but the minute Finch says 'at any cost' she knows what to do, where to go. She is eighty percent sure - maybe, seventy percent, seventy-five - if Root is still alive then Shaw knows where she would go.

Shaw is gone. She sacrificed herself to save her Team. Now she's being held captive somewhere, being tortured by Samaritan. Root is furious, devastated, and hungry for answers. And then Bear shows her something... that might just ease Root's pain a little. It's a letter. And it's from Sameen.

You are having a normal day. You go to your 9-5, you deal with your annoying boss, who takes up most of your time with errands instead of letting you do your actual job, which is typing. However, you can't shake the feeling that someone has been watching your every move throughout the day. Is this just a feeling, or is it actually happening?

August, 2015 The Machine is gone. At least, she has been for 3 months. While enjoying his kinda vacation, John is beginning to notice the effects her absence is having on his world. And it's not good. Finch is waking him earlier and earlier, obsessed with discovering a way to open his briefcase and rebuild the Machine. The circles beneath his eyes are a testament to his obvious lack of sleep. Root is desperate. Without the Machine in her ear, her only report on the outside world comes from Fusco, who hasn't been shelled up in their hideout for 3 months. Without Shaw by her side, nobody can keep her calm. New York is battleground. Samaritan has allowed chaos to ensue: an unofficial cleansing that doesn't seem to be working. Without Elias or the Brotherhood at the head, crime is at a peak, and bodies are arriving in the morgue daily. Roots new number finds them a small guest in the subway - Shaw has a change of heart, and is also unexpectedly good with children.
