Samuel Holt was given the opportunity to recruit a genius kid from Cuba. As you might have guessed, that kid was Lance McClain. Although we all know that Lance made it to the Garrison and eventually to Voltron; the journey there wasn't as simple as it might sound.

We never really know what exactly happens to Matthew Holt in the Netflix original series Voltron: Legendary Defender. After being captured by the Galra during the Kerberos mission, we know that Shiro saved him from the Gladiator and that the Rebels rescued him from the Galra prision. Otherwise, we have no idea what happens to him. Based off of some of what we do know, along with elements of my own, this is what I think could have happened to Matt.

A high school/ modern AU. Keith life has been awful so far. Shiro, Matt, and Sam are all pharmaceutical scientist that all work together. They went to Harvard University and found a cure for cancer. All three separately go around the country as guest speakers for events and schools. One day, Shiro happens to be a guest at Keith's school. Meeting Shiro was a turning point in Keith's life that only led to more turning points. With the path Keith is heading down, he runs into a certain blue-eyed Cuban boy.

Ensign Rissa Olsen is a Garrison medic assigned to keep the crew of the Kerberos mission healthy and safe. Things get a little out of her control billions of miles from home.

Y/N is Shiros sister. When her and her brother first started going to the garrison that you would get to go to space together. But you guys also didn't see what was coming once you go to space. Will you survive. Will Matt ever see his mom and sister ever again. Will you also go through everything your brother will go through. May be some smut and shipping that I have. But slim chance of smut never really wrote stuff like that sooo ya. (I own nothing but a little bit of the story line every thing else belongs to there rightful owners)

Imagine if voltron was just a dream to help Pidge cope with the loss of her brother and father? This was literally in my head while I was eating dinner today and I told my friend, they told me to leave Pidge alone but naturally I made a story out of it.

He fought all of his owners and in only a month he was forced to wear a collar. If you put a collar on a shapeshifter they can't change forms unless you force them to. Lance was now 19 and he was still being controlled by them. He was at another auction house and was going to be sold soon. Was this his destiny? Was this going to be his life forever? Would anyone save him? Keith Kogane was rich. He had married many men who were all old and on their deathbeds. He was only 21 and all those old men were blinded by that, marrying him and dying soon after. He had billions of dollars and decided that he should find someone to keep him company for the rest of his life. He had heard of auction houses and how they sold shapeshifters. He had always thought of getting one but none had impressed him. What would happen when Keith finds Lance, arguably the most powerful and wanted shapeshifter in America? Would he soften his heart?
