Charlotte loved to draw, she may have only been 7 at the time, but she was a really good artist... just like her father. Ever since he started his animation company with his best friend, he has taken Charlotte with him to see what he does. And, being the little artist that she was, loved every bit of it. She loved the cartoons and cute characters, and she was part of the family. That was until things started going downhill. Struggles from the Ink Machine and the cartoons saying to be 'bad for children', Charlotte was forced to forget everything and stay away from drawing forever. She was never allowed to go to the studio again. But a certain someone didn't want that to happen. He sent her a little present in a secret space in her room. Knowing she would find it at the perfect time. She will remember... She will believe.

In the entertainment industry, you'll do mostly anything to get your work and name out there in the world to be recognized and adored. Joey Drew had the beginnings of a successful career and an even more successful show in the making, however his dream was beginning to die ever so slowly as various problems arose within his studio and amongst his staff. Fortunately for him, he had a certain musically inclined employee that could provide him with just the right tool in order to get his wheels up back and running again... And her name was Hope Lawrence.

Getting a job as Sammy's assistant at Joey Drew Studios was realistically the only thing I expect to happen to me when I stepped through that front door. I never expected Joey to spot me drawing my own cartoon character and then make her an official character in the show! Nor did I expect to become said character! However, the one thing that ended up happening to me that was even more shocking was the ink demon catching feelings for me! Now I'm stuck as a little black lamb in the depth of the studio! She also happens to be the great-granddaughter of the man himself. After befriending a trio of teenage residents and reconciling with her cousin, the five of them set out for a fun day together. That fun day, however, is interrupted when Lys accidentally stumbles across the old site for Joey Drew Studios. A fun trip to Philadelphia quickly turns deadly when the group suddenly finds themselves scrambling for answers in a race against time to escape the workshop from whatever, or whoever, might still be lurking in there... As one of Henry's best friends, you're willing to take the risks the studio throws at you to help him and find out what happened, along with help the other ink creatures that you used to work with and help them remember who they were. Although the studio's demons are still demons and the angels are still angels, character appearances and settings are different, along with the encounters and events that occur, breaking the loop of what exactly you might've thought you knew about the studio. BATFD/ Bendy and the Forgotten Dream is essentially BATIM but with a different story/events (created by you!), character designs, lore, etc. There will be some Bendy x Reader and Sammy x Reader parts (directed at both male/female/other genders) in it as well!
