Elora Cater is a 14 year old girl living in England with restricted dreams but a mind that is often described as being away with the fairies.Born in the 1950s she was made to clean and cook in a kitchen but all Elora wishes for is to be free, escaping the ropes that bind her to just a man. Attending a private school at the expense of her parents wealth Elora is grateful for the opportunity to flee to Austrailia with her year group, even under the horrific circumstances of the war. However all joy is soon shattered as Eloras life takes a tragic descent onto an unhabitted island with just a group young boys to keep her company as well as some of her fellow classmates. Can Elora finally be free? Will a certain boy help her understand that life really does have a meaning? Or Will she finally understand why societies rules trapped her to begin with?
