I'm starting to write small samples of my writing to get people's opinions on it. They are very short but I will have a lot. Let me know what you think!

16 year old Paisleigh Lively is a tomboy. She prefers tennis shoes over sandals, pants over skirts, pizza over Chipotle, and root beer over Starbucks. Her sister and mom constantly try to change her, but she's not having it. She believes it's okay to be different. She likes being the 'nut'.

"My name is Eric and I am a vampire." ---------- Medora's brother died in a car crash three months ago. So, anyone could imagine her surprise to find him back - in her closet? But, Eric isn't the only one who has a secret to share. Not everything is as it seems in Medora's hometown. And a new visitor is going to bring it all out into the open. ---------- This story is labeled as a 'sample teaser' because it may be taken down at a later date for proper editing... (Not because it's published somewhere else.) Sorry for the confusion...
