Sam, Castiel, and Dean are out at a bar on New Year's Eve, Dean's doing, Sam doesn't want to be there and is oblivious to Castiel's stares and tailing him through the night.

The young Winchester stood in the hotel room, he just had an argument with Dean who can't accept him after he has no soul, He is interrupted of his thoughts when the angel Castiel sweeps down to see how things were going, He sees Sam is upset and comforts him. Castiel tells him even though the things he's done aren't great, he's still perfect to him.

Sam awakes from sleeping on his back only to discover that he can't move. Trapped in sleep paralysis with lucifer. When he finally awakes properly, he's glad Cas is there to comfort him.

This is a Sastiel fan fiction, there are spoilers if you haven't watched the 8th or 9th season~ Castiel gets deathly ill with pneumonia after walking in the rain for three days. On top of that, his grace was gone and his light was slowly going out. Will Castiel be able to hold out until Dean returns?
