Two years ago, Carla Rosón and Rebeka Parrilla shared an unforgettable summer on the Spanish coast. They met by chance, never revealing their last names or the lives they came from, and slowly fell for one another. Then, without warning, Carla disappeared, leaving Rebeka with no explanation and countless unanswered questions.
Now, both start to attend Las Encinas in Madrid.
Carla belongs to one of Spain's oldest and wealthiest families. She serves as Student Council president and is known across campus for being intelligent, elegant, and emotionally unreadable.
Rebeka has recently transferred after her mother's company made their family one of Europe's newest billionaire dynasties. Despite the wealth, she feels more comfortable with the scholarship students than with Madrid's old money elite. She smokes when she's overwhelmed, prefers honesty over appearances, and refuses to let anyone define her by her family's fortune.
Neither expected to see the other again.
