Masayoshi's head whipped around. He'd been talking at Gotou more than with him, and Gotou immediately regretted engaging. Masayoshi leaned forward in the jump seat, blue eyes wide and glittering slightly. "So you know about the Jedi?"

"I remember that story," she said, when her phone buzzed in her purse, sitting on the folding table. "It's almost time. You gonna be okay?" Masayoshi stood up and tugged on the bottom of his suit coat, setting it back properly on his shoulders. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and then nodded. "Yeah," he said. "I am."
