In the depths of space, some signals are better left unanswered. When independent bounty hunter Darius Kade intercepts a mysterious distress beacon from the abandoned Astraeus research station, he expects a routine salvage job. Instead, he finds a nightmare: secret experiments involving the deadly Metroid have gone horribly wrong. Mutated creatures now roam the station. And someone wants the research. During the chaos, Darius crosses paths with the legendary hunter Samus Aran. What begins as a tense encounter quickly turns into an uneasy alliance when they discover the truth behind Astraeus: the Space Pirates sabotaged the station and stole the experimental data to create a new generation of Metroids. After barely escaping the station's destruction, the two hunters track the stolen research to a hidden pirate fleet preparing to unleash the experiments on the galaxy. Now Darius and Samus must infiltrate the pirate flagship, destroy the research, and stop Commander Varkon before the nightmare spreads beyond control. But the deeper they go, the more dangerous the truth becomes. Because the Astraeus experiments may have created something far worse than Metroids. And it's already evolving. In a galaxy full of monsters, two hunters may be the only ones who can stop the next extinction-level threat.

An unknown event has caused multiple realities and timelines to merge. To maintain a measure of of stability, the inhabitants of this strange new existence have agreed to a very shaky form of peace. Meanwhile, certain powers that be set out to recruit the finest minds and combatants to their cause as the rest attempt to make their way in this strange new universe. I do not own the cover used, Star Wars, Halo, Metroid, or any of the other properties that may appear in this story, they all belong to their respective companies. Certain characters that appear are my own but I do not own the Universes they belong to. Credit to Spartan-L058 for letting me use a bit of their headcanon in this and to an old friend of mine for coming up with this idea with me years ago and continuing to be my second opinion and reference on things I don't know much about. Metroid, space pirates, Ridley/Meta Ridley, The Parasite Queen, Chozo ghosts,...mostly monsters for that matter....but then there was The Federation Police.....and Adam, the one I loved. No that past is long gone. I needed a break from my missions after going back to Zebes (play metroid other m an you will get it) it was to hard see Pyonchi and well.....wanting to see Old Bird again....he is the one who took me in when I had problems on my own planet.....it doesn't matter all I need now is my varia suit and my zero suit. As one planet known as K-2L was colonized by the Honor Helios Empire in the year of 870 BC by the Emperor name Blackmask a wise honorable leader of the Forerunners. But a war erupted between Forerunners and Xenomorph on K-2L started in 877 and ended 890 with a peace treaty was made as Blackmask and Zeno(the Xenomorph Hybrid Queen) married. As they have a few children, but the twins who where born first in 999 BC Robothuggerface the Clanlord of the Saint Helios Clan and GoodTwin the leader(Clanlord) of the Allied Forces Clan. But Y/n Samus Aran or Samus Aran and her half brother Tai, who was born on an Earth Colony K-2L, a mining world after the "Great Collapse of the Honor Helios Empire" in the year of early 1960s many H.H.E remain on K-2L, while Tai was born on Remnant, as the war dragged on between the S.H.C and A.F.C but ended in 2019, as the S.H.C has transformed into the Saint Helios Empire. But on K-2L was invaded by the Space Pirates, and Samus was the soul survivor when the Chozo found Y/n and adopted her and fuse their DNA into Y/n's DNA, later a baby Metroid's DNA went into Y/n as she is hunting Space Pirates and dangerous creatures and dangerous criminals. But when Y/n, S.H.E, and many Allies and Foes(not planets) were teleported to Remnant, will the four kingdoms and Menagerie have peace or will have war. Metroid! To commemorate Ridley is now a playable character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, I decided to make a narrative version of the fight between two Rivals of Metroid, Ridley, The Leader of the Space Pirates, and Samus Aran, The Intergalactic Bounty Hunter!

Okay. As far as I know, not a lot of people have done Ridley fanfics, and definitely not of this ship. I feel like it deserves more attention because of their history with Samus, as well as how with their powers combined, they could cause all heck to break loose in any galaxy! Also be warned, I don't know a lot about this franchise, so I might get a few things wrong here and there. As always, Ridley and Dark Samus, as well as other characters, are property of Nintendo. Some of the soldiers and the secondary antagonist belong to me though. Have fun reading!
