When 3 hobbits are set off on a quest to take a ring to Rivendell, many unexpected things happen. Said ring holds much more power than anyone could ever imagine. With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins. This is the tale of the War of the Ring, and how it all deteriorated into chaos when an unplanned visitor swooped in against all odds, changing history as it was written, and perhaps causing a bit too much drama for these newer, higher times.
