While she keeps the feel that Tolkien gave us in the books as well as stays true to the ending that he originally wrote, she adds her own twist and voice with the addition of her four female hobbits: Daffodil, Ivy, Nettle, and Thorn. Each girl is so different from the next, complete with their own lovable quirks and characteristics that makes the reader adore them instantly for who they are as individuals as well as a whole. The unity that she presents between the characters is so unbreakable and true that I literally feel like I'm melting with adoration as I'm reading.The writing is fantastic and the story-line enjoyable. Every time I see that she's updated, I squeal and smile and read it immediately because I cannot wait to see what she has to give her readers next. I find myself sucked into it, and when it's over, I'm dying for more, more, more! It is a brilliant, adorable, enchanting story that I would recommend for any Tolkienite/Ringer. You won't be disappointed!

Author's note before you start this book: it's a super slow exposition! It takes a while before we truly get to know Ithtir, the first three chapters are really really introductory and we don't see the flaws and things of the main character. The 5th chapter is where we learn about everyone! Ithtir is the daughter of Tauriel of the Woodland Realm and Kili of Erebor. Second in line for the mountain after her Uncle Fili and father Kili die. Thorin Oakensheild died just a few years past, and the mountain is finally getting back to normal under a new king. They hear of a possible fellowship being sent on a mission from Rivendell, so King Fili sends Ithtir and Gimli, son of Gloin to Rivendell. They join The Fellowship of the Ring along with Aragorn, Legolas of the Woodland Realm, Boromir of The Stewards of Gondor, Gandalf the Grey, and four little hobbits; Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Peregrin Took, and Meriadoc Brandybuck. The fellowship has just started there journey, when they cross paths with the Indians. The Indian princess, nakoma, decides to only let them pass if they agree to take her with them. they finally agree to take her with, and they are on there way. But saurons daughter, morwen joins the fellowship as a spy for her father, to collect information, and prevent the ring from being destroyed. Will morwen go through with sauron's evil plans? Or will she find reasons not to? Will nakoma fall in love with one of the fellowship?
