One day, this backfires as Skye finds herself in a jail cell. Left to think of her next step forward, Skye chooses to enroll in the military. Little did she know that her decision would lead her to the man of her dreams and the adventure of a lifetime. This book takes place across the time period of the three Transformers films, with the first few chapters providing a bit of backstory to Skye and her character. Unfortunately, insubordination does not end well for most Decepticons. Beaten, bleeding out and nearly in statis, Barricade accepts the fact that he might die in a junkyard. Dorothy Haven didn't know if her chief hated her or seemed to think she would want to give up her old police cruiser for a new one. And when said boss gives her a totaled police car as her new vehicle, she really starts having regrets. Luckily for her, Dorothy's new police car was going to be her biggest problem yet.

At the start of the war for Cybertron, the scramble for power lead one noble warrior with hunger for battle, a dying breed of cybertronian, and left with only one choice, join the destruction and dominion seaking Decepticons, or the Peace keeping warrior rebellion, the Autobots. Many feared the obvious, but were shocked by the inevitable.
