His father's left, abandoned him and all his siblings, who he's now struggling to care for whilst also struggling through high school. No one knows they're alone, and he'll be damned if he let anyone try to help him. Then there's Sam Winchester, new to school, who Gabriel takes a liking to. Sam didn't think he had a thing for guys until Gabriel insisted on flirting with him persistently, but my god does he swoon every time he sees the flirtatious candy lover. The best relationships are built on lies. The saddest part is, even when with Sam, Gabriel still feels painfully alone, because what does Sam really know about him anyway? Nothing. Demons are threatening to wipe a small town in the middle of nowhere and the Angel's want to know why. Sam, one of Heavens best and most loyal Angel's is sent to investigate and stop the demons before they become a bigger problem. Sam is glad for the assignment, he can't stand being around Heaven now that the Angel's are constantly fighting with one another over the smallest of things. Gabriel Novak is a hunter, he and his brother are working on a strange case, struggling to understand why the demons are attacking that town in particular. He knows that this case was bigger than them, and so reluctantly agrees to work with the winged asshat, Sam. Together, the unlikely team of Angel's and hunters work against the clock to save the town from being wiped off the map. But the group are far from compatible, tensions rise and secrets threaten to tear them apart as they uncover the demons plans. Oh, and why are Castiel and Dean so secretive?
