Danny is being pushed; his parents are as clueless as ever, Jazz is using her family to get into college, and his two best friends are dating and have been ignoring him since they started. Danny's English and Gym class are anonymously chosen to go on a once in a lifetime field trip to the one and only Ghost Zone. Someone was clearly stupid enough to think that bringing not one but two classes of hormonal teenagers that can't fight worth a damn into a dimension where death is imminent by ghost attacks was an amazing idea. And to top it off, his oblivious and ignorant parents are the chaperones along with Mr. Lancer, the English teacher, and Ms. Teslaff, the gym teacher. Now Danny has to protect his class and "chaperones" and his secret about his and Phantom's relationship and halfa status stays a secret. And what better day to do it than the day that Sam leaves for her despised vacation with her family? Also leaving only Tucker and Jazz available to help. Thanks Murphy's Law. Join Danny and his class in this very cliché and late field-trip-to-the-ghost-zone story. Phantom is the King of the Ghost Zone and Danny is his "queen" and Danny has some of Nocturne's powers (so basically void! Danny). Ghosts have ranks (Alpha, Beta, Omega) and Phantom is an Alpha while Danny, since he is technically still a halfa, an Omega. You probably already know about how the Alpha-Beta-Omega thing works so I won't explain it here. This is Pitch Pearl and Boy X Boy, so no like no read. Simple as that. If not, welcome fellow nerds! Also Sam and Tucker are dating as well and Valerie is still head over heels for Danny and so is Star (to make things interesting). Dash also takes quite a liking to our young bean.
