রাজরাজার আমলের জমিদারী জমিদার ধীরেন্দ্র সেনের।গ্রামের নাম নবাবগড়।সেই জমিদারীর এত প্রভাব-প্রতিপত্তি সবই নাকি ভগবান শ্রী নারায়নের কৃপায়। গ্রামের মূল দর্শনীয় বস্তু হলো সেই নারায়নের অষ্টধাতুর মূর্তি আর সেই মন্দির।গ্রামের সবাই বেশ জাগ্রত মানে এই মন্দিরের অধিষ্ঠাতা দেবতাকে। বিগত কয়েক শতক ধরে প্রত্যেক বছর মন্দিরের প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসের দিন বিরাট আয়োজন করা হয় নবাবগড়ে।দর্শনার্থীদের ভিড় দেখার মতো হয়।কিন্ত শুধুমাত্র দিনের বেলায়।রাতের দ্বিতীয় প্রহর থেকে কারোর যাবার অনুমতি নেই মন্দিরে শুধুমাত্র মন্দিরের দেবদাসীদের ছাড়া।সারারাত মন্দিরে ঘুঙুরের আওয়াজ হয়,সাথে খোলের আওয়াজ তো থাকেই।অনেকে মধ্যরাত্রে এসব নিজের কানেও শুনেছে।তবে এটা শুধু মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠার দিন নয়,বছরে মাঝেমধ্যেই এই ঘটনা দৃশ্যমান হয়। এইবছর তো আরো বেশি ধুমধাম করে পালন হবে
