The imagination of a child is not just a form of expression, but a form of escape. This escape might be killing him. As a child, your mind can take you to wondrous places and experiences. But Jason's imagination is affecting the lives of others, and even hurting them. The sandpit draws him close, making young Jason infatuated with spending time in it, little does he know that his mind has the power to change his the people around him while in it, putting the ones he cares about in harm's way.

This will be a bunch of shorts that may stand alone or are explorations of characters, places, or plot points that may or may not end up in larger works. Basically, this is my writing playground where nothing has to make sense. Comments welcome! I will include some context if the piece is connected to another story.
