(Based on the song Sandcastle Kingdoms from the album, Sandcastle Kingdoms by Nathan Sharp/Natewantstobattle) What if you dreamt of something you didn't want to come true ? For most people, it's a nightmare and though it's scary, it's just your imagination right ?

Seven-year-old Andy Carter is on a quest to rid the once pristine coast of mysterious trash, with the help of the most fantastical creature named Gorric. Have you ever wondered what happens to your hard-built sandcastles after the tide crushes them? What if I told you little creatures called Morrics live inside them in the land of Zorric? These unseen Morrics take your sandcastle to the deepest part of Zorric, where they make spume or you call it sea foam! This spume is made in the most interesting of ways - Morric farts, toots, flatulence, breaking wind! The ocean depends on this spume made by the Morrics! However, spume levels are dangerously low and Andy is determined to find the source of all the trash that is depleting the ability for kids to make sandcastles. Is it because of the company Vile Virus? Is it because of the creepy scrawny extremely tall old lady, Mrs. Bones? Or is it something even more sinister dwelling in the ocean? Join Andy as he discovers hidden creatures and worlds in this hilarious, dangerous, and somewhat unbelievable journey about how he and Gorric save the land of Zorric and clean up the coast! Or do they? This story is geared towards younger Middle Grade kids. It can be read to any age level and is a great story to read while planning a trip to the ocean!

"Hey brat! I see you made a new friend!" Katsuki's mother yelled to him as they got closer. A green-haired woman smiled a few feet away. Katsuki assumed it had to be Izuku's mom since they had the same hair and eyes. "Did you see us build the sandcastle? It's the best one on the beach!" His mother smiled at him. "I did see it kiddo. Nice job. Are you ready to go?" Katsuki was about to say yes, but he paused. He looked to the side at Izuku who hadn't rushed to his mom either. "No." His mother frowned at him, but looked to understand quickly. "Don't worry brat, you'll see little Izuku again. I talked with his mom and they're here for as long as we are. Crazy coincidence huh?" Katsuki still didn't want to leave. "Can Kacchan come to the beach tomorrow too? And the next day?" "I want to play with Deku every day," Katsuki huffed, crossing his arms. Katsuki's mother chuckled, looking over her shoulder at the green-haired woman. "How's that sound Midoriya? It looks like our boys don't want to go quietly." ~ Hey there! This is the second piece to Heatwave: A DKBK Summer Zine 2024!!! This one was done in collaboration with Naki_Dono !! She created a lovely work of art as one of her contributions to the zine! This entire idea was hers, I just put the plot into more words. And of course, Astra_Waves was the Beta for this fic along with my main contribution fic. Thank you both so much this has been so fun and you guys made it a blast. Same for the mods and everyone involved with the zine. Special mention to Radiant_Allomancer! She didn't directly contribute to this specific zine piece, but was a lovely inspiration and support when I had some random questions. (This is my first zine.)
