Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Edit- 06/02/21 this was one of the first things I tried to properly write, it isn't that great but it does show how much I've improved and I find that cool now that I've gotten over most of my embarrassment about it. (Also I'm not editing anything this thing is beyond saving anyway-)

Matt's friend Brian, the one that yelled at us, was sat in the driver's seat. his other friend Zacky was in the passenger seat. The others were in the back. Matt turned to look at me once more and then pulled me into a hug that I will never forget. "God Natalie, I guess that this is goodbye." "I hate that word." "I know, I'm sorry." "It's fine. I'll be fine." Brian honked. "Matt you need to go." "Okay." He kissed the top of my head once more before turning around and jumping into the van's open door, shutting it behind him quickly.
