Part 2 of the Beginnings beyond Endings series. The real Epilogue. Or: what happens in the 60 years that follow the events in This Familiar Coastline.

Torn asunder by a cruel twist of fate, Charlotte and Sidney go their separate ways. Sidney, in particular, suffers a great deal and by the time he reappears, he is so altered that he is almost unrecognisable. Charlotte too does not have quite the glamorous, independent adventure she might have hoped for. Like any good soap opera, a few characters get killed off along the way - but don't worry, you won't miss them too much! A broken fairytale... with a happy ending. (With apologies to Robinson Crusoe, Jane Eyre and other classics I may have borrowed from!)

The letter had arrived two days ago and Sidney was still trying to comprehend its contents. The news contained within had both grieved him and vexed him in equal measure, so much so that he had struggled to compose a reply, for what response could he make to such a letter? This fanfic follows the story of Sanditon but with a twist. I will write it episode by episode (but split into parts) so it will still largely follow the plot and include all the characters we know and love, but the twist will make things rather different (and hopefully interesting)... As always - a HEA is guaranteed!

What if Sidney and Charlotte were a little closer in age? What if they met as teenagers? What if instead of Eliza, Sidney lost Charlotte as a young man, only to find her again years later? Oneshot written for the Sanditon Valentine's Day Challenge. The Valentine's Day theme is subtle and not necessarily the main focus. Obviously, Sidlotte is the focus. When I decided to take on another challenge, I went searching for information about what Valentine's Day looked like during the Regency Era. Unfortunately, everything I came across said there was very little known about the customs of the time. Sending mass produced cards didn't become popular until the Victorian Era. All I could come up with was that heartfelt letters were passed to a sweetheart. I kept digging and came across a little something that I found quite interesting. I do not know the validity in this custom, but I still thought it might make an interesting theme for a story. I hope you all enjoy it.

In addition to the Austen Awards, this story did to my delighted surprise also win in the Sanditon Survival book club's (Facebook group for Sanditon lovers) '2020 Sanditon Fanfiction Awards' - categories 'Completed story' and 'AU story'. This is my third novella in the Return to Sanditon collection - Edward's story. We pick the story up following the conclusion of Gunpowder and Rose (Crowe's story). Edward is currently in exile in France when his path crosses with a mysterious gentlemen who offers him a way home. He soon becomes embroiled in intrigue and has to work alongside his new associates to prevent a disaster from occurring on British soil. Renewing acquaintances, he soon realises that he is being given a second chance. We left Clara devastated by the heart wrenching decision to send her daughter away to live with Edward's sister. An unexpected wedding invitation brings about surprising but welcome consequences and soon she finds her path once more entwined with Edward's. Can they put past actions behind them and forge a new future? This novella is written in my own style and, although inspired by Sanditon 2019, it has taken the story further and introduced new characters (as with Crowe's). It is not written in the Austen style as the storylines are broader and the vocabulary less pure. 41k words and 26 chapters plus epilogue

A fan fiction written for those of us who endured the heart wrenching ending to the final episode of Sanditon (ITV, 2019). [As a possible Season 2] Andrew Davies has written a completion of the last unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen. It's set in 1819 in a new and developing seaside resort on the south coast. This adaptation brings a young Charlotte Heywood to the town where our heroine soon becomes entangled with the lives of the people there. Here, she meets the rather mysterious and taciturn Sidney Parker. As the series continues, love blossoms but things don't go to plan and the series ends on a heartbreaking cliffhanger. I pick up the story here ... This is the first work in Return To Sanditon - Novella Collection. This is a completing work designed to give viewers of Sanditon (2019) a happy ever after with some bumps in the road along the way. We pick up the story shortly after Charlotte's return to Willingden, where she confesses her heartbreak to her sister, Alison. Alison prompts her to seek help and so begins Charlottes campaign to save Sidney from his marriage to Eliza Campion and Sanditon from financial ruin. n.b This is a follow on from Andrew Davies screenplay and is not a sequel to the novelisation by Kate Riordan. In the 30s, in the little village of Amberian Peak, (fictional village) in Dorset, near to the great oil field, a group of wandering mix raced people living in the village has to face the arrival of oilmen which have found oil in the aerea and they bring troubles in the village.
