This is a continuation of season 2 of Sanditon and picks up after Alison Heywood and Captain Declan Fraser's wedding. Will Charlotte Heywood and Alexander Colbourne find their happy ending overcoming previous heartbreak.

Part 2 of the Beginnings beyond Endings series. The real Epilogue. Or: what happens in the 60 years that follow the events in This Familiar Coastline.

How long will it take for Mr. Colbourne to fall for Charlotte his new governess? Based on the chronology of the episodes this fan-fiction will follow Mr. Colbourne's inner thoughts.

Story set shortly after events of Season 1 S

Almost a year after leaving her heart in Sanditon, Charlotte reluctantly embarks upon her next adventure to London as the guest of her good friend, Lady Worcester. Fearful of a meeting with Sidney, the man who broke her heart, our heroine meets old friends and new in the midst of the city - but will she find love?

The letter had arrived two days ago and Sidney was still trying to comprehend its contents. The news contained within had both grieved him and vexed him in equal measure, so much so that he had struggled to compose a reply, for what response could he make to such a letter? This fanfic follows the story of Sanditon but with a twist. I will write it episode by episode (but split into parts) so it will still largely follow the plot and include all the characters we know and love, but the twist will make things rather different (and hopefully interesting)... As always - a HEA is guaranteed!

In Brittany, in the middle of 19th century, the nobleman Joseph Knox welcomes in his estate a caravan of wanderer artists. Despite he reproaches his friends about seducing lower class women, who they consider less worth of respect, Joseph witnesses the attempting assault of a young actress by one of his friends. Joseph's wrath for the act and his sense of honor about the young woman, urges him to stand against his friend, at the point of challenge him to a duel and to question the people and things that mattered to him... . Sanditon shocked everyone with the ending, and many writers write their own version to continue this story. I'm not a writer, I'm just so impressed by this story, that I decided to write my own version of the sequel. The story immediately begins from the moment Charlotte left, and for the beginning I tried to imagine how Eliza's relationship with Sidney and all his families, including Georgiana, would develop, and what exactly would be the impetus for Sidney to decide to change the situation. Maybe it turned out more romantic, than I expected, but it seems to me, that in the last episode, we saw such powerful emotions and feelings in Sidney , that it gives me reason to think, that he would be ready to turn the whole world for Charlotte's sake, which I tried to show in my story. I added some of my illustrations, I hope you will like them

Charlotte Heywood left Sanditon with a broken heart in the summer of 1823. Four years and several adventures later, she returns to find the seaside town much changed in her long absence.
