After the death of his mother, the relationship between his family becomes complicated and Ayan decides to move to live with his uncle, cutting off all contact with his father and older brother. Seven years later, Ray is in a car accident due to drunk driving and his father wants to prevent it from becoming public, so he proposes to Ayan to impersonate Ray in exchange for money for his uncle's medical treatment. How I would imagine things happen after ep 6 of only friends. ___ Nobody had ever loved him. Not his so called friends nor his father. Not even his own mother had ever told him that she loved him. Ray was sure of that. They all just saw him as a burden. Was he really that unlovable? But also, did he even deserve to be loved?

"Forgive me father for I have sinned." The words just kept flowing out of his mouth, his wound throat, sore from praying for hours. "Forgive me for being a drunkard." Tears started running down his cheeks again. "Forgive me for being selfish." Ray's voice was trembling. "Forgive me for being an addict." The first time he spoke it out loud. "Forgive me for hurting....betraying the person I love..." It's after their big fight and Ray goes back to his old behaviors, punishing himself for what he had done to Sand.
