Arriving at the city of Hordaen he must blend in quickly with those of his own race, or be subjected to horrors even the great desert does not offer.

Charlotte Clarke: The ‘Normal’ Human Charlotte and Annie were friends. They went to university together but Charlotte was never able to tell her friend her darkest secret, who she is, what she is. But that problem was solved after the tragic death of Annie. Just death wasn’t the end for her. The three friends then have their lives turned upside down by their new roommate, and are forced to accept their differences from one another as well as normal humans. Also one of the friends has to accept feelings for the new girl even if they don’t think they could ever be together, but will the testing friendship ever be able to come anything more?
