The territory of the IceWings has brought greater terror. NightWing's slaughtered down the halls, vowing to kill each of Queen Glacier's remaining sons and daughters of a future replacement for her soon-to-be death. Every egg was snatched and crushed at the secret island of the NightWings'. But one silver-pale egg remained. And Queen Glacier still lived after her palace was burned and melted to the broken ice. Queen Glacier has vowed to never leave her final egg. But once she dies throughout her promise, another tribe of dragons came brandishing through the melted ruins of Glacier's palace. The future replacement of Queen Glacier was being taken cared by SandWings now. They have suited a room full of a snowy plain dome for the egg to remain in its habitat. Soon, the war would end. This egg was the second choice to stop the war. Surely, every SandWing had believed that this egg was the second destiny to ending every slaughter that had been made... Based on Tui's book series

She was taught the ways of a BloodWing so that she would fit in with the rest. Emberice is, in one word, different. She is an IceWing, but has some features that other IceWings don't, such as orange eyes, weirdly curving spikes, and something even deadlier than frostbreath: Firescales. When Emberice finds out that she is secretly half SkyWing, her world changes dramatically. Because of her differences, the IceWings throw her out of the Ice Kingdom, telling her to never return, as she is too dangerous to be there. When she is captured by SkyWings, she escapes, and has to survive as a fugitive, knowing that she can never go back to the Sky Kingdom while the present queen rules. While a fugitive, she learns a valuable lesson on survival, and what it really means to be a dragon.
