In this story, the two are figure skaters and rivals, but they are paired up as a male pair for a competition.

Tomioka Giyuu feels empty, he feels as though he doesn't deserve to stand next to the other hashiras who worked much harder than he did to be there. His best friend and first love Sabito should be standing where he is now, he robbed him of that when Sabito saved him at final selection, if it wasn't for him he would be alive. Giyuu debated ending his life multiple times, it wasn't worth anything after all. On a particularly hard night he almost went through with it, that was until he stopped and thought. 'What if I give myself one last chance to live..?' He set himself goals he wanted to fulfil before he was allowed to end his life. 1. he wanted to help Kamado Tanjiro become the new water pillar. 2. He wanted to talk more with his fellow Hashira. 3. He wanted to smile more, taking time to enjoy the smaller things in life. And lastly, he wanted to become friends with Shinazugawa Sanemi. The last one was the one he wanted to complete the most, he had tried to befriend shinazugawa for a while now, following him around at the masters mansion after hashira meetings to try and strike up conversation, sadly it only ever ended up in an argument. Giyuu wanted to leave the earth with no regrets, that meant Befrending Shinazugawa, no matter how hard it was going to end up being.

Sanemi is harsh but neutral to the other Hashiras. Giyuu is the quiet one who never speaks. They both are hiding secrets. Sanemi hides that he's colourblind and Giyuu hides that he's deaf. What will happen when the water hashira realizes has a crush on the wind hashira? And what will happen when the wind hashira has a crush back? Will they live and love? Or die young? Giyuu and Sanemi have now been married for almost three years, but sense it's around 1926-30 they kept it a secret. They acted like they hated each other out in public but when they were alone they were quite close. On one of Giyuu's missions a family had been killed, except for a little boy who looked like he was only a year old. So they took him in caring for his as there own. Only a few Kakushi know who are excepting of them and stay at there shared estate to help take care of there new son. But how long can they hide their secret? I apologize if there are any mistakes, I reread my work but I take a bit to get chapters out so I tend to forget what is happening 😅
