Dumbledore has ordered Severus to get close to Dark Lord as close as possible. Severus doesn't know what to do but on one party to celebrate the death eaters successful raid. The potion master finds himself in the next morning on the bed with The Dark Lord himself. Not knowing what to do, the dungeon bat just makes his escape from the Riddle Manor to the castle and spends his time in the shower thinking what he has done. A few weeks later, he started to feel sick and did some medical check up. The result is something he hopes doesn't happen but fate gives him the opposite. Making drastic changes, he will try to avoid any meetings from both Dumbledore and The Dark Lord as much as possible.Dumbledore was furious but thought Severus had something to do for the Light.
