This is the complete history of my OC, Helena Gorton, DDS, a fishwoman from an unknown sea who became a dentist in San Francisco, and lives with her partner, John Gorton, whom she met after his commercial fishing crew caught her one day. But Christina is soon to find out that this sleepy fishing village-and the people in it-are not what they seem. Least of all her grandmother. Missing persons cases close in on the little town and turn into the gruesome murders of young men. And somehow, Christina's sweet, unassuming grandma is in the middle of it. As the school year progresses, Christina finds she has less of a foothold in reality than she thought-as a sweet girl washes up on the beach, very eager to talk to her and to tell her all about the secrets of the deep and the violence on the shore... and the connection they have to her and her grandmother.
