Ever since he was a child, Athan Reyes had always been fascinated in the mentally insane. He wanted to know why they act, think, and behave like they do. When he gets a call from almost half way across the country, he jumps at the opportunity. Now in New Salem, North Dakota, Athan finds himself working in a hospital full of crazies. Told his objective is to study one patient in particular, he is to earn everything their is to know about them-secrets that are too valuable to keep. Things get complicated when Athan finds out his patient just so happens to be deadly and on death row. Can Athan complete his task before it's too late? Or will their valued secrets die with them?

A series of unfortunate events forces Allegra Stafford to move in with her aunt. It is not the worst idea, but there is one huge problem in this entire plan, Allegra's aunt lives in the one place Allegra vows never to return to: her hometown.

After the murder of Aymara's mother, 4 kids surrounding Aymara start dying. the catch, they died the same way Aymara's mother was found. broken neck and stab wound. a dark secret surrounded Aymara's past, new kid Xavier, dead beat father, and her best friend Maggy. Aymara was forced to be in the middle of this war when she started receiving notes from the killer. who was he? why was he doing this? what did Aymara have to do with it? would she survive long enough for the truth to come out?

16 year old Cypress gets sent to an asylum to treat her. I wrote and sent this to my girlfriend while touring Waverly Hills, a former tuberculosis sanitarium that has become a local legend for hauntings around Louisville, Kentucky.

Wrote this in High School creative writing (unrevised)…

Leviticus has lived all her life with the constructs of the Heavens unveiled to her, having been raised by Guardian Angels. Sheltered by their wings, she is not, at first, familiar with the other side of the supernatural world: her darkness is not haunted by Daemons and they know not of her nor her gift. The unexpected consequences are too great and they find themselves undoubtedly in midst the very quiet eye of the upcoming storm. With no one knowing that closing day or hour--not even the Angels in heaven nor the Daemons in hell, but the Lord thy God--preparation for the Final Battle is everything. Sides must be chosen and lines must be drawn; half-truths and full lies are told, all in the effort to build the fortress of their armies.
