But when the sun burns up, it is but those who thrive in the shadows, who will be everlasting. FrontierTale is an Undertale AU about a dark fantasy western. It focuses on the story of Chara, Frisk and their determination. It mixes in new characters, conflicts, and settings with the old classic Undertale.

This story follows our main protagonist, Nicholas Shatzki, on the greatest challenge of his life.

What if two things were so similar, and so far apart, yet they were destined to come together? ... I'm not too sure on how to carry on after that sentence, but you get the picture. It's set in a kind of ScienceTale-esque AU (Which I don't know the full lore to), so the canon characters are a little younger than in Undertale, and frisk is soon-to-be 14. You've seen this on almost every other fanfic ever to be within existence, but I DO NOT OWN UNDERTALE (owned by Toby Fox, respectively) OR SCIENCETALE (Owned by HolyTraitor and Reddest, respectively). (An Undertale story. *gasp* no way) I stepped onto the snowy Earth, trembling with each struggled step, my skin peeling away around me, my heart was silent, not even it's steady beat rang in my ears. I was empty, feeling nothing but the chill of the wind; I wrapped the black jacket tighter around my form, and let out a cold breath. Bloodied holes in my sweater exposed my skin to the razor-like wind. Was this it? The end? I looked down at my hand. The wind threw me, crushed me against the frozen ground. My lungs emptied, and I let my fear come crashing down around me. And yet... I couldn't feel the bite of the cold on my flesh. But I suppose that's because there wasn't any skin left for the wind to bite. There was only bone. (This takes place after a True Pacifist run. However, everyone is living in the Underground because... eh well you'll find out later.) (I might just post a non-undertale related version called 'Bones') Also, this story should be updated pretty regularly and with long chapters because I work on it constantly, (and it's non-undertale counterpart)

This will be a pacifist run and will pick up after you exit the Ruins. This story uses she/her pronouns, but if anyone would like me to make another version with different pronouns I'd be happy to! Your 15 and Sans is 17 in this book. Also, lots of the dialogue and scenes are from the canon game; however, I will of course add my own scenes and dialogue. I've decided to finally write this because I can't seem to find a good, normal, completed pacifist Sans X Reader fanfic (but, if y'all know any, I'll take your suggestions). And don't worry, there will be no weird adding of characters, other soul types, or anything that isn't canon to the game.
