The Shell of Djinns
Synopsis
In the lush, mystical archipelago of Southeast Asia-where ancient myths cling to the shadows of modern life-thirteen-year-old Ferio lives far from the realm of magic and memory. Raised in the restless streets of Singapore, he knows little of his grandfather Tok Khazim, the last shaman of Bawean Island and guardian of powerful secrets.
But destiny stirs.
When Tok Khazim vanishes under mysterious circumstances, Ferio is pulled into a legacy older than empires. He inherits three relics bound to the spirit realm: the Shell, home to 1001 djinns-whispering spirits of both light and shadow; the Ancient Garment of Melaka's sultans, which grants invincibility but threatens to erode the soul; and the Keris with Seven Curves, a weapon of myth, each blade a key to salvation-or destruction.
As Ferio's dormant powers awaken, so too do the djinns. They speak in riddles, tempt with power, and stir chaos in his heart. To master the relics, Ferio must confront his grandfather's buried past-a pact with forbidden spirits, the betrayal of a brotherhood, and a sacrifice that fractured realms.
Enemies emerge from hidden corners of history. Forgotten gods stir beneath the waves. And within Ferio, a question burns: Is his fate written in blood, or can he defy it?
The Shell of Djinns is a sweeping dark fantasy rooted in Southeast Asian mythology-a tale of inherited magic, haunted legacies, and the price of power in a world where spirits are never silent, and destiny always demands a toll.
