As I locked eyes with him, I knew he was the one. I could feel the pull, my wolf was running around and barking in the back of my mind. He was about six foot, four inches and well built, he didn't radiate power as I had expected but maybe we were just too far away to feel it. His eyes were deep blue like pacific ocean and onyx hair complimenting eachother oh so well. His bone structure was perfect, you could cut steel with that jaw line. His smile was something that could make a girl melt and buckle at the knees. I felt a familiar heat rush to my face with every step I took. Once we were in arms reach he pulled me into a hug that I would never forget. It was so gentle and inviting, yet it felt strong and safe at the same time. "Mine" He whispered into my ear tightening the hug. He kissed my temple and pulled back setting his forehead on mine. The waste lands aren't much different than the society you live in only thing, our walls are tangible The wastelands, you're average post-apocalyptic well wasteland, the animals were mutated, bigger faster, more violent but then again so were the people but you couldn't blame the mutation for them, humans have that monster in them from the start. Only, now when its a kill or be killed situation do we let it out. The Santuary, a bubble, literally and figuratively. They pretend that everything is all peachy while outside that bubble people are struggling to keep alive. Then there is the Outskirts, where the aristocrats of Sanctuary toss out the sick, particularly the contagious, and anyone who dares to commit a crime inside of the queens bubble. The Outskirts is the place I've grown the call home these past few years. Then there is No Mans Land, calling there a waste land would be an understatment Then past that were the pirates God I hate Pirates.
