With the Sanvers clan on the verge of growing by one, Lena is asked to babysit Phoebe. Doing what she does best, little Detective Dimples sets about detecting things in Lena's life while Lena works hard to make sure that Phoebe doesn't reveal a rather big secret. (This is the first in a set of mini fic sequels that take place after the events of Into the Unknown)

Alex is left laid-up, temporarily out of the vigilante game, after a run in with Killer Croc. It's up to the NCPD, specifically Maggie Sawyer to bring the hulking hybrid to justice. A well-justified fear for Maggie's life brings up some unresolved feelings and causes Alex to put some issues aside and make an unlikely alliance (given recent events).
