The new VR world of Sword Art Online enthralled all the people of the world, until a dark twist emerges. The Ten-Thousand players who logged in first are trapped In the game. To escape they must complete all 100 floors of Aincrad, and If you die In the game you die in real life. Join Kirito and Shikki as they make their way through Aincrad, lost in a virtual world. I know that there are a lot of SAO fanfics, however I'm trying to take a different approach to the Aincrad arc. I've read some SAO fanfics, and most of them are just retellings of whatever arc they're writing about, but with X character there. Honestly, that's just a bit lazy. I'm not claiming to be an amazing writer, heck, I'm just a beginner, but I feel that fanfics should at least deviate from their source material. In this case, I'm going to try to make a completely different story, using the same setting as the Aincrad arc. I will add my own OC into the story, as well as other characters from the SAO story, even if they're not in Aincrad in the show. However, I will probably change the ages, and their backstories to a certain extent in order for them to fit in the story. This will be my first story that I've put real effort in, so it won't be perfect, but I hope I can at least satisfy myself. Slow updates

The sixth of November 2022, was a day, that went down into history. On this day, the very first VRMMORPG that fully emerges your body and mind into the game was launched, but... At the evening of the official launch of SAO, it was made public, that the players were trapped inside the game. Here, in this deathgame, was a player called "Viper". Viper wasn't your normal player. He killed, but he wasn't seen as a criminal. Some called him the batman of SAO where others just said he was your normal killer. But... Viper never killed anyone innocnet. On his path he stumbles not only over Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth and onwards, but also, over his very first love. Follow Viper on his journey trough Aincrad, and his first love. (This is a fanbased parody and doesn't really have anything to do with the main plotline. Although some things may be bend to fit the story.) He was injected by a waiting Johnny Black while going to his dorm after basketball training. Asuna, his roommate and girlfriend realised that he wasn't coming back to the dorm. She became worried. And~ what would you do to get out? You would normally open a door. Right? So, when she opened the door, a fainting Kirito could be seen in her sight. She called the ambulance which rushed to the school and Kirito was taken. When she went to the hospital he was supposed to be in, the accountant would confirm he wasn't in the hospital at all.
