What do expect from someone who hates all kinds of voices, the irritating concept of people singing? All the high notes that'd make ears ring or sound like a fork scratching a plate. During Karl's visit to his kingdom, his political stance changed, and he grew a hatred for not only forms of a higher power, but people in general.
