Fighting against her wolf, Sapphira tries to fit into her role of newest kitty on the block whilst trying to figure out how she has both a wolf and a cat - and why she has a mate from both species! Even without the boy troubles, Saph has mounting piles of coursework and friend drama to deal with even as she fights to keep her best friend from the insanity she's knowing too well.

Ava Smith was freshly out of college when she ran into a young girl stealing a woman's purse. A week later she finds that the young girl she met has been killed. She starts doubting Saph's murder when a friend of Saph's thinks that Saph might have faked her death. Is Saph dead or is she faking it? Why would she fake it though? . . Should Ava help figure out why Saph's friend thinks that Saph faked her death?
