The third book in the Saphira and Michelangelo chronicles. The newlyweds come back from their honeymoon in Canada to the middle of the Kraang invasion. Leatherhead is back. People are lost. Eragon, after leaving and never returning, is devasted and misses all his friends, especially Arya. But duty calls and he must train the new Dragon Riders. But soon, his own dragon, Saphira, bears a hatchling of her own. Eragon has mixed emotions on how he feels about Saphira's daughter's Rider, and things become challenging. His feelings take over his control, and soon, he is forced to make the hardest decision of his life.

This is a fan fiction of Inheritance, but doesn't start right at the beginning of the book so bear with me on that. This girl, Alexandra, literally gets sucked into the story, or rather, into the world of Alagaesia itself. She wakes in the middle of the Varden with modern clothes, her horse from home, and her ipod, but that's not all...destined to become a rider herself, she has the strength and grace of an elf, magnified even more by years of ballet, an awesome but horrific control over the elements and not surprisingly...Eragon's heart.

What's happening with the Fireponys?

My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Together we must face enemies and get through the battles surround us. I've been sucked into an adventure that wasn't meant to be mine, but now that I'm here, I'm not leaving Eragon, Brom and Saphira to their fate. Plus, the purple dragon in my dreams says we're going to meet soon. Who am I to deny that? This is my story, and remember; when everything seems dark sja fram, look forward.

One hundred years ago, a powerful group of sorcerers called the Dragon Riders were betrayed by one of their own kind. After rallying other Riders who had gone astray, the tyrant, Dream, overthrew the Dragon Riders and took over the SMP. The traitors called themselves "Peace bringers" even though they did exactly the opposite. Dream's rule has been cruel. Families die of sickness and malnourishment, nobles do whatever they please, and the law is almost non existent. That all changes one fateful night when a dragon egg appears before a plain and ordinary boy named Tubbo. The dragon inside the egg hatches and forms a bond with Tubbo, and they are almost immediately confronted with their fate. They are the only ones who can overthrow Dream and save the SMP.
