This is an AU of a pairing of Jasper and Lapis. Jasper is a human who is a raging alcoholic and a brute with a love for fighting. Lapis is quiet and shy girl who has her own demons. They are both damaged and misunderstood. But misunderstanding is understanding to the person who misunderstood. Will Lapis be able to tame the beast that is Jasper?

This story takes place after the episode friendship. Connie gets hit in the head by a gem shards. She gives them to Steven. Steven soon after meets a gem who uses him to get something she wanted. Will Steven regret what happens next? Will the gems forgive him? Can he fix his mistakes before it is too late? To find out the answers just keep reading. Warning this story's background is not going to be the same as the show, for example, the diamonds may not have the same roles but this is a Fanfiction, not the show. If I feel like fixing some of the law I will do it towards the end of the book or after I finish it. Okay I honestly don't know what I'm doing here. You are not obliged to read this. My first shipping story and I don't know what I'm doing... I'm doomed! This is two separate but linked stories, and although each of them is in chronological order, they aren't in chronological order with each other... Lapis and Peridot's story comes first; then comes Pearl and Amethyst's story. Neither of them is finished. Set in a college with characters that are humanized versions of Steven Universe characters. Told from the points of view of Lapis, Peridot, Pearl, and Amethyst. Shippings: pearlmethyst, lapidot, background rupphire. Fusions are separate, pretty much unrelated people in this story. Apologies if I get a little mixed up about how the college works because I've never actually been to college myself (I'm too young haha) but the interactions are really the important part... right?
