Ruby is famous Star Football player for The Crystals football team, the best football team in the star maps. Her mother is a famous singer/actor and her father is the most successful business-gem in the universe. Her family history is a rich and famous legacy. His best friends are Amethyst and Jasper. Sapphire is a shy gem. Sapphire likes to go to the park quietly when her rude Step-family is done bossing her around. Her parents died and she is left with her step-mother and her 2 step-sisters. On the other hand, Sapphire normally goes unnoticed by everyone but Peridot, Pearl, and Rose Quartz. Ruby's friends with everyone but her best friends are Jasper, Lapis, and Amethyst. (Human AU) Sort of like Romeo and Juliet without the crazy death story. (I have to admit, not my best work, but when you're bored you just gotta write random things and hope it works.)

I normally hate how people just jump to conclusions on how Ruby and Sapphire loved each other immediately unlike the real world. Real life romance takes time and effort and not immediate "oh I love her SoOoOo much!" "I love her so much omg". So, I decided to write my own and let the relationship go slowly and steadily and not make people jealous of fairy tale land. Not Mature! No 'extra' stuff.
