In this modern retelling of Ovid's Orpheus from his Metamorphoses, Orpheus should be dead, but washes onto the shores of Lesbos. Here, he is discovered by the mysterious and powerful muse Sappho. Seeing his piteous form, Sappho is determined to return Orpheus to health by traveling to the underworld and recovering his lost body. On their journey to hell and back, the pair may discover they have more in common than what meets the eye.
