Poetry for when you feel wonky

Joan and Margaret are two lady pirate wives who go on kick-ass adventures and love each other very very much. Their favorite people to fuck with are the British Navy, whom they constantly manage to avoid somehow. :Note: The entirety of the story will be written from Margaret's P.O.V. Perhaps I'll write a chapter from Joan's P.O.V if it's really wanted. Perhaps. :Note: Tagged as mature because some people are extremely homophobic and can't handle the idea of a happy wlw relationship.

As a young, wealthy victorian girl Clementine is of course expected to marry a wealthy, eligible, attractive young man. However when Clementine decides she does not want her future planned out for her and argues with her mother, she is sent to live with her aunt in the countryside where she meets someone who easily beats all the other suitors her mother has prepared for her. The only issue is that the attractive young stranger is a woman, and when they decide to run away- things don't exactly go as planned.

Sappho was a Greek lyric poet, born on the island of Lesbos. The Alexandrians included her in the list of nine lyric poets.

i will never be the same again.

i love writing poetry. it has been my coping mechanism and a way of emotional expression for many years. when i have feelings for a girl, i write a poem. when i'm having a mental breakdown, i write a poem. when i'm figuring out my thoughts, i write a poem. sometimes i'll write some for fun, or just because. most of them come from raw emotions. i write the words as they come to me in my free verse poems and i do very little editing. any editing done is changing up a single word in one spot. tw; mental illness, internalized homophobia, and focus on deep emotional pain is a frequent mention in my poems.

Have you ever felt the depths of your heart have its groundbreaking display to ever grace the world? It goes with the gentle zephyr to linger within every skip of the lonesome soul, every waltz of such faint fingertips, and every exaltation of sweetly-tempered voices receiving such a turning point for the earth to suddenly turn into Eden. To my future love, I hope that when your hands engrave themselves delicately on this book, you'll find peace within yourself and that you'll see me as a pure depiction of your lost happiness.
