Everyone knows the tale of the Sanderson Sisters, an infamous trio of witches who kept their youth by taking the life force of children. Except that's not quite the whole tale. There was a fourth witch, named Rowena Pendragon, who is a white witch and also happens to be immortal. Rowena was the town healer of Salem, and she was loved by the townsfolk for her work. Oh, and she also happened to be Sarah Sanderson's lover. After the sisters are killed on Halloween night in 1693, Rowena must spend the next three hundred years awaiting Sarah's return. So what happens when in 1993, a teenage boy named Max Dennison ends up lighting the Black Flame Candle and inadvertently resurrecting the Sanderson Sisters?

It's been thirty years since the events that took place in Salem. The Sanderson Sisters were vanquished and Destiny Sanderson and Thackery Binx were set free to see the world.
