The story of Abram, who was named by God himself: Abraham - Hebrew: אַבְרָהָם ("Avraham"), Arabic: ابراهيم, Ib / Ab (إب) and rahim (راهيم) - a prophet and friend of God (James 2: 23). A person who is called by God and follows that call starts his life's journey with God. A journey of life and faith through various difficulties and obstacles, doubts, and choices to keep faith in God. A journey of life with various challenges and also the recognition of God that continues to grow, experiencing the promise and power in dealing with various problems that arise. Various problems can also be faced by every person who lives even in different eras.
We will look closely at how the faith in God will grow, the introduction to God first and deeper and how Abraham makes decisions to solve the problems he faces. While there were very few or maybe no written records / books about God, when the rules and procedures for worship were still very simple, Abraham chose to believe and walk with God. To its peak, after all that it went through with God, Abraham made it through his greatest and last trial and was still able to maintain his faith. That's Abraham, who is known as the father of the faithful, and can be an example and reference for each of us in our own walk of life to know God and His guidance is getting closer. A story that really happened thousands of years ago, but still can be a reflection and provide invaluable lessons. And the good news, this story is for you. Guess God bless your journey of faith.
* This story is based on Abraham's story found in the Book of Genesis, the first book of the 5 books of the Law of Moses. Moses lived about 700 years after the time of Abraham.
